The Battery Charger VBCS Triple is a completely new device combination consisting of a Pb mains charger, VCC charging converter and MPP solar regulator, which ensures the energy supply in the motorhome. The batteries are always charged automatically, whether on the road or on the pitch. Above all, the generously dimensioned charging power of the integrated charging converter with 30A ensures that the on-board battery is charged with full charging current even on short journeys and is fully charged at the destination. Pb mains charger with 40A Mains operation, standby operation at the external socket from the mains: The full charging power in the universal range of 110V AC - 230V AC without switching is available worldwide even with large deviations in the mains supply (undervoltage/overvoltage, sine wave, frequency). Powerful charging of the on-board battery and supply of 12V consumers from the mains. Auxiliary charging branch 12V/ 4-5A to support and maintain the charge of the vehicle (lead) starter battery during long downtimes. Thanks to the long-term charging characteristics, the device can be permanently connected to the mains (use, winter break) VCC charging converter with 60A Charging converter, "B2B" operation, mobile operation from alternator and starter battery (battery to battery): The powerful charging converter (booster) enables the on-board battery to be fully charged while driving. It increases/reduces the voltage to the required level in order to charge the on-board battery precisely with the optimum charging characteristic. It fully compensates for line losses and significant voltage fluctuations in the alternator, such as those that constantly occur in Euro 6 vehicles. The 12V consumers supplied with power are protected against overvoltage and voltage fluctuations. MPP solar controller for max. 430Wp Solar operation, "MPP" (Maximum Power Point): With MPP technology, the controller constantly and automatically determines the maximum power output (MPP) of the solar modules several times per second. The additional charging current gain of 10% - 30% ensures shorter charging times and the best possible power utilization of the solar system. Secondary charging branch for support charging and charge retention of the vehicle starter battery during long downtimes. Switching output "AES", causes automatic switching of refrigerators with "AES" (Automatic Energy Selector, Electrolux / Dometic) from gas to 12V operation when there is a permanent surplus of solar power. Pulser operation, training for the on-board battery during charging breaks when no charging source is available: Battery training protects the unused (lead) battery from rapid ageing and failure due to sulphation during wintering, seasonal operation or longer downtimes. Properties The charging voltage is free of peaks and regulated in such a way that the batteries cannot be overcharged. Fully automatic continuous operation: The charger can be permanently connected to the batteries and keeps them fully charged. If no charging source is available (power failure, engine stop, night), the batteries are not discharged. Parallel and buffer operation: The battery continues to be charged or is kept fully charged if there is simultaneous consumption. The charger automatically calculates and monitors the adjustment of the charging times. Monitoring-free charging: Multiple protection against overload, overheating, overvoltage, short circuit, malfunction and battery back-discharge through electronic cut-off up to complete disconnection of charger and battery. Power supply function: Enables consumers to be supplied without a battery (e.g. when changing the battery). Built-in on-board mains filter: Problem-free parallel operation with other charging sources (wind, motor and fuel generators) on one battery. Charging cable compensation: Voltage losses on the charging cables are automatically compensated for. Connection for battery temperature sensor (included): For lead batteries (acid, gel, AGM), the charging voltage is automatically adjusted to the battery temperature, results in a better full charge of the weaker battery in cold weather, unnecessary battery gassing is avoided in summer temperatures. LiFePO4 batteries: Battery protection at high and especially at low temperatures < 0°C. Highly recommended if the battery temperature can fall below 0°C during operation. Automatic lead battery regeneration twice a week during downtimes to prevent harmful acid stratification. Charging aid for deeply discharged lead batteries: Gentle pre-charging of the (lead-acid, -gel, -AGM) battery up to 8 V, then powerful support for the battery if consumers are still switched on. Plug-in connection for optional LCD Charge Control S Technical features Automatic battery regeneration Remote control/display connection Power limit function - mains/charging power reduction Temperature compensation Voltage sensor (for very long charging cables) Mains adapter function (battery replacement) Adjustable battery capacity (size) Silent run function (night setback) Temperature sensor included Charging programs "GEL": Charging program for gel batteries Adapted to sealed, gas-tight gel/dryfit batteries with fixed electrolyte, which generally require a higher charging voltage level and longer U1 holding times in order to achieve short charging times with particularly high capacity storage and to avoid long-term battery "starvation". "AGM": Charging program for AGM/fleece batteries Intended for charging sealed, gas-tight AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries in lead-fleece technology, which require a particularly high U1 level with coordinated holding times for full charging and then a moderate U2 level for charge retention (plate and round cell technology). Charging program "DIN 0510" for lead-acid/wet batteries General DIN characteristic for charging and charge retention of open and closed lead-acid batteries with removable cell plugs and the possibility of acid level control and correction (maintenance). Can also be used for closed batteries, as it is low-maintenance, maintenance-free, low antimony, silver-alloyed, calcium etc. with low or very low water consumption. With a high U1 level, offers short charging times, a high charging factor and high acid mixing, even in stationary use (acid stratification) for "wet" traction, lighting, solar, heavy duty and standard batteries. "UNIVERSAL": Charging program for lead-acid/wet/AGM batteries Universal program for charging and maintaining the charge of acid batteries in vehicles (mixed mobile/stationary). With a medium U1 level, it still offers short charging times, a good charging factor and good acid mixing for open and closed, low-maintenance, maintenance-free standard, traction, lighting, solar and heavy-duty batteries, as well as AGM batteries with a normal U1 level. "LiFePO4": Charging program for lithium batteries Charging program tailored to lithium LiFePO4 batteries with their own BMS and prescribed or built-in protective circuitry. When the vehicle is switched off (seasonal operation), a special rest maintenance function automatically keeps the LiFePO4 battery at a charge level of 50-80%, which is beneficial for its service life, and also buffers 12V consumers and the vehicle starter battery. In addition, a regular auto wake-up function activates battery cell balancing. The Multiplus-II 48/3000/35-32 GX is a high-end device combination from Victron Energy (MPN PMP482306000) that combines classic Multiplus components with an external current sensor and integrated anti-islanding function. This extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to 50 A and extends the potential range of use to ESS applications. The inverter module delivers a full 3000 W with a non-linear load and 2400 W with a linear continuous load. The 48 V battery charger is also very well proportioned with 35 A charging power and is supplemented by a 32 A transfer switch, which can be used to switch back and forth between the AC connections at lightning speed. Compared to the other devices in the series, the GX variants have an integrated GX display with numerous other connection options.Important features of the Multiplus-II 48/3000/35-32 GXIntegrated GX control unit with various communication connectionsPowerControl and PowerAssist to increase mains or generator outputbuilt-in anti-islanding function and connection option for external current sensor (optional)can be used as a backup device in grid-connected systems for power supply in the event of grid failurescan be used in various ESS (Energy Storage System) applicationsideally suited for professional seafaring, yachts, vehicles and land-based, off-grid applicationsVE.Bus interface for parallel and three-phase operation, remote monitoring and system integrationpractically unlimited power thanks to parallel and three-phase operationcan be configured on site or remotely using VEConfigure software*Technical features3000W power with non-linear load 2400 W continuous load and 6000 W peak powerfor 48 V battery voltage, 32 A transfer switch and 35 A battery chargerOutput voltage: 230 VAC, frequency: 50 HzMax. efficiency is 95%, protection class IP22Always enough power thanks to PowerControl and PowerAssistA maximum mains or generator current can be set on the MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-32 GX. The MultiPlus-II then takes account of other connected AC consumers and only uses the power that is still “left over” to charge the battery. This prevents the generator or mains connection from being overloaded (PowerControl function). The PowerAssist function adds a new dimension to the PowerControl principle. Load peaks often only occur for a limited period of time. In such cases, the MultiPlus-II immediately compensates for insufficient generator, shore power or mains power with energy from the battery. If the load is reduced, i.e. consumers are switched off, the available energy can then be used to recharge the batteries.Solar power: alternating current even in the event of a mains failureThe device can be used with both off-grid and grid-connected PV systems as well as other alternative energy systems. It can be used with both solar charge controllers and grid-connected inverters.Maximum flexibility thanks to two AC outputsThe main output ensures uninterrupted operation. In the event of a mains failure or an interruption in the shore/generator current, the MultiPlus-II takes over the supply to the connected loads. The switchover takes place so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed. The second output only supplies power when alternating current is available at the input of the MultiPlus-II. Consumers that must not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.Scope of the integrated GX deviceA VE.Can interface This can be used to connect VE.Can devices from Victron (e.g. VE.Can MPPT). The connection can also be reconfigured via the remote console for use with a compatible CAN bus Li-ion battery.1xUSB connection1x Ethernet connection1x VE.Direct connectionMany options for system expansionThe settings can be changed within a few minutes using the VEConfigure software (a computer or laptop and an MK3 USB interface are required) and several monitoring and control options are available: Color Control GX, Venus GX, Octo GX, CANvu GX, laptop, computer, Bluetooth (with the optional VE.Bus Smart Dongle), battery monitor, Digital Multi control panel.Remote configuration and monitoringInstall a Color Control GX or other GX products to connect to the Internet. The VAC Triple 45-10/25 Battery Charger from Votronic (MPN 0664) consists of a 35A VAC mains charger and a 45A VCC charging converter including battery trainer. Compared to the VBCS Triple, an intelligent charging current distributor has been integrated instead of the integrated MPP solar charge controller, which splits the charging current of the mains charger and supplies the starter battery with a charging current of 10 A. Solid power supply for starter and supply batteries In this way, higher loads on the starter battery (entertainment, blue light, siren, etc.) can be buffered and the vehicle's ability to start can be permanently guaranteed. If the high charging current on the starter battery is no longer required, the charging current distributor also makes it available to the on-board battery. Key product features of the VAC-45-10/25 Triple Like the VBCS Triple series but without MPPT solar charge controller Votronic part number 0664 Instead with intelligent 10A charging current distributor Integrated VCC charging converter (battery to battery) with 45A Integrated battery trainer for life-prolonging care of your valuable batteries Integrated VAC mains charger with a maximum charging capacity of 35A Charging current distributor supplies high charging current 12 V / 10A for fast charging of the starter battery and supplying the 12 V consumers connected to it during mains charging Includes charge retention for long downtimes and integrated module for battery maintenance Significant price advantage compared to buying the integrated components separately Offers charging options for both supply and starter batteries Electronics protected against moisture Can charge all common battery types, including lithium batteries The Triple devices have charging programs for lead-acid, GEL and AGM batteries and also 4 charging programs for lithium batteries, including a control input for connecting a LiFEPO4 battery management system (BMS). Massive price advantage compared to buying the components individually The generous equipment of the VAC Triple devices guarantees you a solid saving compared to buying all integrated components individually. Optional LCD remote control panel available If you also want to have full control and an overview of your energy system in the cockpit, you should take a look at the optional Votronic 1247 LCD Charge Control S. It can display all the essential information of the VAC-Triple and its format matches the rest of Votronic's built-in panel range. The Multiplus-II 48/5000/70-50 GX is a high-end device combination from Victron Energy (MPN PMP482506000) that combines classic Multiplus components with an external current sensor and integrated anti-islanding function. This extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to 50 A and extends the potential range of use to ESS applications. The inverter module delivers a full 5000 W with a non-linear load and 4000 W with a linear continuous load. The 48 V battery charger is also very well proportioned with 70 A charging power and is supplemented by a 50 A transfer switch, which can be used to switch back and forth between the AC connections at lightning speed. Compared to the other devices in the series, the GX variants have an integrated GX display with numerous other connection options.Important features of the Multiplus-II 48/5000/70-50 GXIntegrated GX control unit with various communication connectionsPowerControl and PowerAssist to increase mains or generator outputbuilt-in anti-islanding function and connection option for external current sensor (optional)can be used as a backup device in grid-connected systems for power supply in the event of grid failurescan be used in various ESS (Energy Storage System) applicationsideally suited for professional seafaring, yachts, vehicles and land-based, off-grid applicationsVE.Bus interface for parallel and three-phase operation, remote monitoring and system integrationpractically unlimited power thanks to parallel and three-phase operationcan be configured on site or remotely using VEConfigure software* Technical features5000W power with non-linear load 4000 W continuous load and 9000 W peak powerfor 48 V battery voltage, 50 A transfer switch and 70 A battery chargerOutput voltage: 230 VAC, frequency: 50 Hzmax. efficiency is 95%, protection class IP22 Always enough power thanks to PowerControl and PowerAssistA maximum mains or generator current can be set on the MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 GX.
