Soft start to protect the system The soft start mechanism is a protective function used on the growatt battery to protect the system from overvoltages. When the battery is started or turned on, the power supply is gradually increased to protect the system from damage that could be caused by a sudden voltage spike. In this way, smooth and safe operation of the battery system is ensured. Integrated BMS The Growatt ARK low-voltage battery's Battery Management System (BMS) monitors a number of key parameters to ensure efficient and safe battery performance. It monitors the battery state of charge (SOC), mains voltage, current flow, cell voltage, and cell and PCBA temperatures.
