The Victron MPPT 150/70MC4 (MPN SCC010070300) belongs to the large family of BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers and offers a wide performance spectrum for the demanding user. Ultra-fast power tracking and automatic adjustment of the MPP voltage in partial shading are just two of the many highlights of this device class. The devices in classes 150/45MC4 to 150/100MC4 are also available in a version with screw terminals (35mm²) instead of the MC4 connectors at the solar input of the charge controller. In addition, this model is capable of parallel operation with other controllers of the same type, which could significantly increase the solar output even further.

In the event of partial shading, there may be two or more maximum power points (MPP) on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to adjust to a local MPP.
