Victron Quattro 12/3000/120 12V 230V 2400W inverter 120A charger (VAT-exempt)
Delivery time approx. 18 days
The Quattro 12/3000/120-50/50 from Victron (MPN QUA123020010) is a device combination of a 12V 2400W sine wave inverter, a powerful battery charger and transfer switch. It has two switchable AC outputs and 2 AC inputs. The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC power sources: for example to the public power grid and a generator or to two generators. The Quattro automatically connects to the active source.
The permanently integrated battery charger delivers an impressive 120A, which means that even large batteries can be fully charged quickly if shore/grid power is available. The 12V sine wave voltage converter built into the Quattro converts your battery current into 230V alternating current. Thanks to the true sine wave, the power quality is also perfect for sensitive electronic devices. In addition to the two integrated device types, 1 lightning-fast 50A transfer switch is installed for each AC input. Thanks to these switches, countless applications can also be implemented in the mains-coupled area. In addition to the VE.Bus port, 2 COM ports are also available for system integration, allowing virtually limitless networking of the Quattro.
Extremely flexible thanks to 2 AC inputs and 2 AC outputs
The main output ensures uninterrupted operation. In the event of a mains failure or an interruption in the shore/generator power, the Quattro takes over the supply to the connected loads. The switchover happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed. The second output only supplies power if alternating current is available at one of the Quattro's inputs. Consumers that must not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.
Key performance features of the Quattro 12/3000/120-50/50
2400W continuous power and 6000W peak power, for 12V battery voltage
Device combination of inverter with transfer switch and 120A battery charger
supplies the purest 230V sine wave voltage and a clean 50Hz frequency
2 AC inputs with integrated transfer switch / 2 x 50 A maximum switchable current
2 AC outputs + 1x additional output which only allows the current to pass to the consumer when the AC input is active.
VE.Bus communication port provides extensive networking, system integration, configuration and control options for Victron Multiplus devices.
supports three-phase operation (3 identical units of the same model required)
Quattro devices can be connected in parallel, up to 6 devices can be connected in parallel, significantly increasing system performance if required
2x COM ports are available in addition to the VE.Bus port, so there are virtually no limits to system integration
PowerControl function enables working with limited generator power as well as limited shore or mains power
PowerAssist function enables “power boosting” of generators and shore power support if required
Can be used as a UPS solution for uninterruptible power supply, thanks to the integrated transfer switch with 16A or 50A
can be used for grid-connected self-consumption systems that only draw power from the grid operator when the battery capacity is no longer sufficient or other programmable events have occurred
3 separately programmable relays
compatible with numerous Victron control and display panels
Very high efficiency and low self-consumption
Massive power expansion possible
Up to 6 Quattros can be connected in parallel. With six 48/10000/140 units, for example, this results in 54 kW/60 kVA power or 840 A charging current. Three units can be connected in a three-phase configuration. But that's not all: up to 6 sets of three units can be connected in parallel, resulting in 162 kW/180 kVA inverter power and over 2,500 A charging capacity.
PowerControl - working with limited generator output, limited shore or mains power
The MultiPlus is a very powerful battery charger. It therefore draws a lot of current from the generator or shore power supply (almost 10A per 5kVA Multi at 230 VAC). The maximum mains or generator current to be drawn can be set using the Multi Control remote control panel. The MultiPlus then takes other connected AC consumers into account and only uses the current that is still “left over” for charging. This prevents the generator or shore power connection from being overloaded.
PowerAssist - “power boost” for generators and shore power support
This function adds a new dimension to the PowerControl principle. It enables the Quattro to support alternative sources that are too weak. Load peaks often only occur for a limited period of time. In such cases, the MultiPlus ensures that insufficient shore power or generator output is immediately compensated for by energy from the battery.
BackUp system: alternating current even in the event of a power failure
The Quattro can be used with non-grid-connected and grid-connected PV systems as well as other alternative energy systems. Software is available to detect a grid failure.
Simple system configuration
If settings need to be changed on a single device, this can be done in a matter of minutes using a DIP switch setting procedure.
Parallel-connected and three-phase systems can be configured using the VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software.
Monitoring options and local control
Several options are available: Battery Monitor, Multi Control Panel, Ve.Net Blue Power Panel, Color Control Panel, Smartphone or Tablet (Bluetooth Smart), Laptop or Computer (USB or RS232).
Monitoring and control from a distance
Victron Ethernet Remote, Victron Global Remote and the Color Control Panel enable remote maintenance and remote monitoring of the MultiPlus. System data can also be saved and viewed free of charge on the VRM (Victron Remote Management) website.
Remote configuration
If systems with a Color Control Panel are connected to the Ethernet, they can be accessed and settings can be changed remotely.
