The Victron Lynx Distributor (MPN LYN060102000) is a modular DC busbar with devices for four DC fuses. It monitors the status of each fuse and indicates their respective states via an LED on the front. The Lynx Distributor contains a positive and a negative busbar and provides a connection for 4 individual DC device circuits, loads or DC groups. It provides space for individual DC fuses per DC group.

Fuse indicator LEDs

If you want to use the fuse indicator LEDs on the Lynx Distributor, a connection to a Lynx Shunt is also required. The Lynx Shunt contains the required wide input power supply (8V - 70V DC) to output the required 5V (4.5V - 5.5V) power requirement of the Lynx Distributor PCB. The RJ11 cable required for the connection is included in the scope of delivery. The Lynx Shunt has two ports, both of which can be used.
When fully functional, only the central LED lights up green. If a fuse is blown (or missing), the central and fuse circuit LEDs light up red. If you are not using all connection points in your DC distribution, dummy fuses may need to be fitted to extinguish the red LEDs.

Fuses

The Lynx Distributor uses MEGA fuses. Please note that some MEGA fuses are designed for 36V only (suitable for 24V systems). For 48V systems, fuses with a rated voltage of 58/64V must be used.
