This motorhome solar set with LiFePO4 battery - MEDIUM, is the perfect medium-sized solar set with battery for a self-sufficient power supply in your motorhome, caravan or camper.
Installation takes less than three hours - experienced hands are much quicker. A complete installation diagram is included, enabling even complete beginners to master the installation quickly and successfully.
The expected daily output of the two solar modules (April to October) is an average of 1000 Wh/day (max. 1600 Wh on very sunny days in Switzerland), so the 1280 Wh battery can be fully charged in a single day.
1280 Wh is enough battery capacity to charge an I Phone 120 times, a laptop 20 times or 8 LED spotlights for 240 hours. You can also operate a cool box or a 1000W inverter with this battery.

The set contains all the components you need to enjoy a self-sufficient and mobile power supply. The special thing about our solar systems for motorhomes: We use an extra solid mounting system that can simply be stuck on. The module can be unscrewed from the spoiler at any time if you need to access the area under the solar module or want to replace the module.
We have also paid particular attention to quality at the critical point, the cable feed-through into the interior of the motorhome. The supplied cable gland is made from the same sturdy material as the roof spoiler for the solar modules and is simply glued on. The connection is absolutely watertight and particularly durable.
The LiFePO4 battery is extremely light, small and extremely durable.

Voltima VLI100 LiFePO4 12V lithium supply battery 100Ah
Lithium batteries offer several advantages over conventional lead or AGM batteries. This makes them particularly interesting for use in motorhomes:
- Longevity: LiFePO4 batteries last over 3000 cycles at 80% DOD and even over 5000 cycles at 50% DOD. This means you probably won't have to change the battery for decades, which is cheaper in the long term than lead or AGM, despite the slightly higher purchase costs
- Space-saving: Motorhomes are often dependent on limited space. With lithium batteries, you can save valuable storage space, as they are much more compact than lead-acid or AGM batteries.
- Lightness / low weight: If you need to stay under 3.5 tons, you can save a lot of weight with a lithium battery, as they are only about 30-40% of the weight of lead-acid or AGM while having twice the usable capacity. So with 15 kg of lithium, you can enjoy the usable capacity of 80 kg of lead-acid or AGM. This leaves more charging capacity for other loads.
- Absolutely safe, gas-free and heat-tolerant. The combination of lithium, iron and phosphate does not release any oxygen. The battery can therefore not burn or explode.
- Low self-discharge and an integrated battery management system (BMS) mean you don't have to worry about damaging your battery through deep discharge.
The VLI100L delivers a total of 1280 Wh with 100Ah. That's enough battery capacity to charge an I Phone 120 times, a laptop 20 times or 8 LED spotlights for 240 hours. You could also operate a cool box for 48 hours.
This makes it the ideal battery for medium-sized campers. If you ever need 230V AC power, you can also easily connect a 1000W inverter here.

VOLTIMA SCD25 MPPT solar charge controller Dual 12V 350Wp 50V 25A
With MPPT technology, the controller automatically determines the maximum power output (MPP) of the solar modules several times per second. It then transforms the excess voltage of the solar module into a higher charging current for the battery (realized by high-frequency switching controller technology with high efficiency). This additional charging current ensures shorter charging times and the best possible power utilization of the solar system. A Bluetooth dongle for monitoring the charging data via smartphone app or a permanently installable monitor can be purchased separately if required
- Two battery charging outputs: For main supply on-board battery as well as backup charging and charge retention of the starter battery
- Switchable charging characteristics for optimum charging of lead gel/dryfit, AGM/fleece or acid/wet batteries as well as LiFePO4 batteries

Bifacial modules are particularly suitable for mounting on the roofs of motorhomes or camper vans. The angle of incidence of the sun is often lateral in the camper and so the light from the roof can be ideally reflected onto the lower side of the panel. In this way, a good deal of extra power can be extracted from a small space.
Alternatively, you can also mount two normal modules such as the GSM130-36 or simply attach a flex panel such as the GSM160F-36 with mounting tape.

- Dimensions of the BSM130-36: 1160 x 540 x 30 mm. (For two next to each other you need at least 1160 x 1080 x 30 mm + mounting rails space on the roof)

Spoiler profiles are the first choice, especially for caravans and motorhomes, when it comes to clean and long-term mounting of solar modules. If the modules are mounted in the direction of travel, wind noise is no longer an issue (this also applies to alcove vehicles). The complete mounting set also includes a cable bushing. When fitted correctly, they are absolutely leak-proof and extremely durable.
Sikaflex 554 (Sika 252i replacement) 300 ml construction adhesive (white)
Correctly applied bonding is superior to any screw connection in tough motorhome or boat applications. A strength of over 4 N/mm2 can be achieved on painted or GRP surfaces, a value that would never be achievable with a screw connection in the thin aluminum or GRP carrier layer - and without any holes in the roof. This adhesive set enables even a layman to create an absolutely firm connection between spoilers and the respective substrate.

Before ordering:
Climb onto the roof of your camper / caravan / motorhome and measure exactly whether you have enough space on the roof. Remember that you need space for the solar panel AND the spoilers.
Also take into account any objects that may already be on the roof (skylights, fans, antennas, satellite dish, etc.).
Also plan exactly where your cable feed-through is to be placed, where your charge controller is to be installed in the vehicle and where the supply battery will be and how long the extension cable from the solar cells to the charge controller or from the charge controller to the supply battery needs to be. If the 5 meters of solar cable and 1 meter of charge controller cable provided in the set are not long enough, you will have to adjust the set manually.
