Hoymiles HMS-800W-2T micro inverter with integrated WiFi
The HMS-800W-2T (MPN: HMS-800W-2T) from Hoymiles is the perfect micro inverter for a balcony power plant. In addition to the integrated WiFi module in Industry+ quality to be mentioned here, the compact lightweight (only 3.2kg) is ideal for solar power production with up to two solar panels up to an output of 320 to 540+W each. As with all other Hoymiles microinverters, it is suitable for long operating hours and wide PV module applications, as its start-up is very low (only 22V) and the DC input range of the operating voltage (16-60V) is extremely wide.
The inverter has been specially developed for use in mini PV systems and has a high-quality WiFi module. Installation is effortless with the user-friendly HMS Plug&Play cable. The micro inverter can be connected directly to a power socket without the need for complex cabling. The HMS-800-2T also simplifies system monitoring by providing real-time access to production data by connecting directly to a smartphone. In addition, the S-Miles Cloud enables remote monitoring.

Two MPP trackers for optimum solar yields
Maximum Power Point Tracker technology is used to generate the best possible yield from a solar system. The MPPT determines the optimum ratio between irradiance, module temperature and solar cell type over the course of the day. Thanks to the two MPP trackers in the HMS-800W-2T, the optimum operating point for the two PV strings can be optimized separately. The two trackers work independently of each other and so, for example, shading on one string would have no effect on the second.
Simple design
PV systems with Hoymiles microinverters are very easy to plan. You do not need to install cumbersome conventional inverters. Each microinverter can be quickly mounted on the PV mounting frame or directly under the PV module. The PV module is connected to the microinverter directly on site, eliminating the risk of people being exposed to dangerously high DC voltage.
Optimum reliability
Micro inverter systems are inherently more reliable than conventional inverters. The decentralized design of a microinverter system ensures that a fault does not cause the entire PV system to fail. Hoymiles microinverters are designed to operate at full power in ambient temperatures up to +65°C (150°F). The housing of the micro inverter is designed for outdoor installation and complies with protection class IP67.
