The MXS 5.0 POLAR is a modern, microprocessor-controlled battery charger with mains and DC cables specially designed for temperatures down to -30 ºC (-22 ºF). The charger delivers unmatched performance when charging lead-acid batteries between 1.2 Ah and 110 Ah and also features battery diagnostics to determine if the battery can accept and hold a charge, a patented automatic desulphation program, an AGM option to maximize the life of most batteries and a special Recond mode for reconditioning deeply discharged batteries. In trickle charge mode, the MXS 5.0 POLAR uses CTEK's patented float/pulse system.
