The MXS 5.0 is a charger equipped with the latest technology, which was previously reserved for CTEK professional devices. The charger solves a range of battery problems; it is the perfect charger for users with the highest demands. The MXS 5.0 offers a range of features, such as battery diagnostics that indicate whether the battery can accept and hold a charge, a special reconditioning function that recovers deeply discharged batteries with acid stratification, a unique maintenance charging function, a mode for optimized charging on cold winter days and the ability to charge demanding AGM batteries (i.e. Optima). The unique display allows the user to follow the entire charging process.

The MXS 5.0 is a fully automatic 8-stage charger with a selectable charging current between 0.8 A and 5 A for 12V batteries from 1.2 - 110Ah and for maintenance charging up to 160Ah. The charger has protection class IP65 (protected against dust and splash water), was built to protect vehicle electronics systems, is protected against sparks, reverse polarity and short circuits.
