The Growatt THOR 22AS-S EV charger is compatible with all well-known electric vehicle manufacturers thanks to its type 2 connection and has an output power of 22kW. Intelligent charging with solar power Maximize the benefits of your PV system and get the greatest safety with optimal protection. Smart load management allows you to safely charge your electric car with 100% renewable energy from surplus solar power without tripping the fuse or exceeding the power limit. The charging power can automatically and dynamically adapt to the electricity currently provided by the sun. If it is cloudy, for example, the THOR EV reduces the charging speed and, conversely, increases the charging speed when the sun is shining. This also protects the home network from overloading. The minimum charging speed is 4.1 kW and the maximum charging speed is 22 kW. If you only generate 2 kW from the solar system, for example, the THOR charger will not start charging your electric car unless you activate "Import from Grid" in the ShinePhone app, after which the difference between the self-generated power (e.g. 2 kW) and 4.1 kW is imported from the grid. Versatile protection devices The Growatt THOR 22AS-S Wallbox offers many protective devices for your overall system.
