The VOTRONIC Battery Protector 40 is connected between the supply battery and the consumer and is suitable for all lead-acid battery types (acid, gel, AGM) and makes. They protect the battery from dangerous deep discharge as well as the consumers and equipment from undervoltage and overvoltage and, controlled by an external switch, can also serve as a remote-controlled battery master switch.

The reset to normal operation takes place automatically as soon as the voltage has risen again, e.g. to 12.5 V, due to battery recovery or brief charging. The switch-off can also be canceled manually using the "EMERGENCY ON" function. The Battery Protector 40 can be operated remotely via the "Sensor +" terminal using a simple switch (1-pole ON / OFF).
