The Victron MPPT 150/70tr (MPN SCC010070200) belongs to the large family of BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers and offers a wide performance spectrum for the demanding user. Ultra-fast power tracking and automatic adjustment of the MPP voltage in partial shading are just two of the many highlights of this device class. The devices in classes 150/45tr to 150/100tr are also available in a version with MC4 connections on the solar side of the charge controller instead of screw terminals. This model is also capable of parallel operation with other controllers of the same type.

In the event of partial shading, there may be two or more maximum power points (MPP) on the current-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to adjust to a local MPP.
