This galvanized side plate from Van der Valk with product number VDV-742540 is used for mounting solar panels on a flat roof and is part of the ValkPro+ L10 mounting system.

It ensures that no wind can get caught under the solar panels and is mandatory for roofs higher than 25 meters or if the construction is mounted right up to the edge of the roof (less than 1.5 meters from the edge of the roof).
