VARTA Powerzone VPZ-LOAD 15000 Plus
The Varta Powerzone VPZ-LOAD 15000 Plus charger takes away all your worries about your car battery. Whether you have an AGM, GEL, lead-acid, VRLA or wet battery, this charger will charge it for you. It has an advanced and intelligent microprocessor that controls the charging process. In addition, automatic diagnostic, rescue, charging, maintenance and charge retention functions are fully covered by the VPZ-LOAD 15000 Plus.
Removing or disconnecting the car battery is no longer necessary with this device. Set the required battery voltage manually and connect the charger to the battery. Provided that everything has been set correctly, the Varta VPZ-LOAD 15000 Plus charger will carry out the necessary measures for proper and gentle charging. You can also leave the charger permanently connected to the battery (when stationary) using the charge retention function.
If the charger detects a defect or an incorrect setting, an error (display: "ER-X") is displayed.
Safety functions
To guarantee complete safety during charging, the charger is equipped with extensive safety functions. These safety functions provide protection for/against:
- Reverse polarity
- short circuits
- overheating
- Overcharge protection
- overvoltage
- Charging with defective batteries (automatic charge termination)
- Sparking
Charging stages
The charger has a 7-stage charging control, which is controlled and regulated by a microprocessor. This means that the charging stages are set automatically depending on the battery condition.
