This solar system 100W Advanced-Set AGM - SMALL, comes with a 70Ah AGM battery and a 500W inverter with charger function. This makes it the perfect small solar set with battery and inverter for a self-sufficient power supply. Ideal for a garden shed, forest hut, alpine hut or wherever you need 12V and 230V power "off-grid", so to speak, away from the public power grid.
The expected daily output of the module from April to October is around 500 watt hours (Wh) on average and up to 800 Wh in good conditions. With 70Ah, the VDC70 delivers a total of approx. 840 Wh. This is enough battery capacity to bridge two cloudy days and charge an I Phone 40 times, charge a laptop 4-6 times or keep 8 LED spotlights lit for 80 hours. The NSC500 supplies 500W AC ("household current") and can charge the battery with up to 5A.
Installation takes less than two hours - experienced hands are much quicker. A complete installation diagram is included in the operating instructions for the solar charge controller, enabling even complete beginners to master the installation quickly and successfully

The components of the set:
NOQON NSC512 500W/12V sine wave inverter with charger, NVS and UPS function
Many laptop chargers as well as other electrical appliances such as induction hobs, hair dryers, microwaves, televisions and kettles are operated with 230V alternating current. An inverter converts the 12V direct current from your battery into 230V alternating current. Make sure that you adapt the selected size of your inverter to the consumption of your electrical appliances.
The NOQON NSC models also combine an inverter and mains charger in one. This is ideal if you plan to stay at a campsite for several days. In this case, the vehicle's engine will no longer supply power and if there is no sun or you are standing in the shade, the battery can quickly run out. Most campsites offer sockets for mains power and you can use these to charge your battery via the NOQON NSC inverter.
VOLTIC VDC70 Deep Cycle AGM 70Ah battery
AGM batteries:
- are particularly inexpensive to purchase
- can withstand high continuous discharge currents without any problems
- can also be charged at sub-zero temperatures
With 70Ah, the VDC70 delivers a total of approx. 840 Wh. However, in order to be able to enjoy a particularly large number of battery cycles, it should ideally only be discharged to approx. 50%, which means 420 Wh "usable capacity".
This is enough battery capacity to bridge two cloudy days and, for example, charge an iPhone 40 times, charge a laptop 4-6 times or keep 8 LED spotlights lit for 80 hours.
If 35Ah or 420 Wh usable battery capacity is not enough for you, you can either choose one of our larger sets with battery, or put the set together manually in your shopping cart with a VDC120, or connect two VDC70 in parallel.
If you want to play it safe, you can also install a BatteryProtect to protect your battery from deep discharge.
A charge level indicator can also be useful to adjust your consumption to the charge level of the battery.
If you also want to charge your battery with shore power, you could simply buy an additional charger.

MPPT solar charge controllers use the latest and most efficient technology and get the most power from your solar modules. With MPPT technology, the controller automatically determines the maximum power output (MPP) of the solar modules several times per second. A Bluetooth dongle for monitoring the charging data via smartphone app or a permanently installable monitor can be purchased separately if required.

This remote control can be used to conveniently switch the inverter on and off from a distance of up to 3 meters and to read the approximate charge status of the battery.

Before ordering:
Take a close look at the place where the solar module is to be mounted and measure whether there is really enough space. Also think carefully about where your cables should run, where your charge controller should be installed, where the battery will be located and how long the extension cable from the solar cells to the charge controller and from the charge controller to the supply battery should be. If the 5 meters of solar cable and 1 meter of charge controller cable provided in the set are not enough, you can adjust the set manually. To do this, simply open all the items in the set individually and add them to your shopping cart. You can then delete items from your shopping cart and add other items (e.g. a longer extension cable)
