Thanks to the patented SPIRALCELL TECHNOLOGY®, it can provide power for longer, has a shorter charging time and twice the service life of conventional boat batteries. And it is specially designed to meet the demanding challenges of maritime applications.
The OPTIMA BLUETOP battery is completely leak-proof and maintenance-free. It is lightweight and can be installed practically anywhere in almost any position. The vibration resistance of this battery is 15 times higher than that of other batteries, which is extremely important in maritime applications. It also holds its charge longer and can be recharged faster thanks to its remarkably low self-discharge rate. This means you can be back on the water faster at the start of the season.
BLUETOP® deep-cycle batteries
OPTIMA BT DC 4.2 and BT DC 5.5 BLUETOP batteries fulfill two tasks. They are suitable for all deep-cycle applications (boat accessories, wheelhouse loads, electric motors, bow thrusters) and for starting applications.
BLUETOP SLI (Starting, Lighting, Ignition)
The BT SLI 4.2 BLUETOP battery from OPTIMA is a starter battery. While you can use deep-cycle batteries in any application, starter batteries are only suitable for starting applications.
