Cable lugs TYPE A-M are made of electrolytic copper tube (SE-Cu according to DIN 13600).

The tube wall thickness guarantees the best electrical conductivity and mechanical protection against vibrations and conductor pull-out. Our cable lugs are annealed to guarantee optimum ductility; this is essential as the cable lugs have to withstand severe deformation during crimping and the usual twisting of the lug during use. The connectors must also ensure reliable contact in the event of oscillations and vibrations. Under these circumstances, hardness plays a decisive role in preventing breaks and cracks. The inspection hole ensures that the conductor is inserted correctly. The sleeve length has been chosen to ensure easy and correct positioning between the crimping inserts during crimping.
