The HMS-700 (MPN: HMS-700-2T) from Hoymiles is the perfect micro inverter for your balcony power plant. The compact lightweight (only 3.2kg) is suitable for solar power production with up to two solar panels up to an output of 280 to 470+W each. As with all other microinverters from Hoymiles, it is suitable for long operating hours and a wide range of PV module applications, as its start-up voltage is very low (only 22V) and the DC input range of the operating voltage (16-60V) is extremely wide.

Compared to its predecessor model from the HM series, the HMS-700 offers more safety for rooftop solar power plants thanks to its fast shutdown and isolated transformer. The new sub-1G radio solution enables more stable communication with the Hoymiles gateway DTU.

Optimum reliability
Micro inverter systems are inherently more reliable than conventional inverters. The decentralized design of a micro inverter system ensures that the entire PV system does not fail in the event of a fault. Hoymiles microinverters are designed to operate at full power in ambient temperatures up to +65°C (150°F). The housing of the micro inverter is designed for outdoor installation and complies with protection class IP67.

Simple design
PV systems with Hoymiles micro inverters are very easy to plan. There is no need to install cumbersome conventional inverters. Each microinverter can be quickly mounted on the PV mounting frame or directly under the PV module. The PV module is connected to the microinverter directly on site, eliminating the risk of people being exposed to dangerously high DC voltage.
