The Growatt inverters in the MID series are particularly suitable for larger PV systems without storage. They can be used for self-supply or as full feeders.

The maximum output power of the inverter is 17,000W and the device is compatible with a photovoltaic system with a maximum size of 25.5kWp.

The maximum efficiency of the inverter is 98.3%. The European efficiency of 97.5% takes into account the typical weather conditions in Europe.

The Growatt MID 17KTL3-X is transformerless and therefore works particularly efficiently.

The inverter contains 2 MPP trackers. This means that 2 independent strings can be connected. This is important if the PV system consists of differently arranged surfaces, for example with east-west orientation.

A 3-phase smart meter is still required to operate the Growatt MID 17KTL3-X and is not included in the scope of delivery.

High safety is an important aspect and is achieved through several features such as built-in DC switch, overvoltage protection, reverse polarity protection and many other protective mechanisms.
