The Growatt APX Battery Base is suitable for the floor installation of Growatt APX battery modules and the associated BMS. The Growatt APX system has a modular design, i.e. several batteries can be combined, with the Growatt Base serving as the foundation. Up to 10 storage modules and the associated BMS can be stacked on one base.

The APX battery system

The Growatt APX battery system has a modular design and additional batteries can be stacked on top of each other. The APX 5.0P-B1 has a capacity of 5kWh and the BMS has a maximum (discharge) current of 13A or 26A. This means that a capacity of 5-30 kWh can be achieved and selected. The nominal voltage per battery module is 385 V and the operating voltage range is between 330-450V. The lithium iron phosphate battery (LFP) is free of cobalt, which results in a more cost-effective battery, for example.
