When the sun shines, instead of buying electricity from the grid provider, the system automatically prefers to use its own electricity. Balcony power plants thus offer a practical solution for generating part of the electricity required for the household yourself, thereby significantly reducing the electricity bill and contributing to the energy transition.

The HMS-450 from Hoymiles is the perfect microinverter for your small balcony power plant and is suitable for solar power production with module power of up to 600 watts peak. Just like all other microinverters from Hoymiles, its starting voltage is very low (only 22V) and the DC input range is extremely wide at (16-60V). Also think about where you want to install the micro inverter and how long the cable from the micro inverter to your chosen socket needs to be. If the 5 meters included in this set are not sufficient, you can simply assemble the set from the individual products in your shopping cart and then add a longer cable.
